Well now that this map is in heavy rotation for team slayer I came up with a strategy that seems to work pretty well during the initial push for control. Teams generally each start at an opposite base (or close to it). One man should grab the sniper and post up on the wall near the turret. A second should man the turret. The remaining two players should rush the sword. There are a few things that can happen at this point. 1) There is no opposition and the sword is ours: the teammates should exit from the top and grab carbine/shotgun etc and come back to the base. 2) There is some opposition for the sword. Depending on the locations of the opposition make the grab and exit either from the way you came or out the top. Either way the goal is to get in view of the heavy artillery outside. Even if the sword carrier gets killed it will be out in the open and anyone attempting to retrieve it will be cut down relatively quickly. Of course if there are only one or two opponents then just feel free to slice and dice as you please. 3) The opposition has the sword....then it is on to plan B...kill anything that moves Nothing too profound here, just a few observations on what was working well last night. If everything clicks then you have sword, sniper, turret, BR, carbine, and a shottie all at one base.

The thing I have noticed about this map is that whoever effectively controls the center tends to win the game, no matter what the gametype. It is a crucial plot, you can both attack and defend in CTF and Assault, and even TS swings on control of the center. Get a sniper and a BR on the wings and use them to direct traffic.

I played a Crazy King on this map yesterday, and that center is a valuable Hill spot that is easily defended.
