Let the posting begin!

Hello fellow clanmembers,
Since this is our campfire, where our palavers will be, I wanted to speak about the lack of posting on this site.
I know, for me, I have been busy with real life, combine that with a little difficulty getting on the site (continuous asking to reload), and I have not been able to post as much as I would like. I am sure this has been the case for some of you.
But since we are a newly starting group, I think that we should try to communicate with each other a little more than we have.
I think we have a great group here, and I'd hate to see us lose what we have here. I've had the opportunity to play with several of you, and it was enjoying and fun- exactly what Halo should be about.
That being said, we all can't play Halo 24/7 (no matter how much we wish we could! ). We should use this site as a communication method, and also a way for us to get to know each other.
It doesn't matter how long the post is. Sometimes a sentence says it all. Sometimes a little more.
No matter how pointless it may be, a post is a good way for us all to know each of us is still around and serious about what we have.
Real life things should always come first. None of us will argue that. If things are really rough and you won't be playing for a while, if you are able to let Dread or Fae know, or any of us for that matter, FF would be grateful.
That being said... I'm alive.. all is well.. hope to see you around and maybe I'll get a chance to read some of your posts!

I would like to appologize about the slowness of the site, I know that is a continuing frustration to everyone, and we will try to expand as possible in the future to bigger and better things.

As Furiont said above, real life must come first, however, when starting this clan the words "serious" and "dedicated" were used, and that is exactly what we need. I'm not going to ask that everyone posts x times per week or anything silly like that, but I would ask that each of us take 5 minutes every day to log on and at least check the latest news and stay abreast of what happening within the clan.

If we want to be active and succesful, we have to coordinate and practice. To do that, we have to communicate. To communicate is simple...log in and post.

I look forward to hearing more from all of you so that we can move on to the next phase of activity. We recently hit 15 members and it is no good to see only 7 even signed onto the site as members and only half of those with actual posts. Hopefully we can get things rolling soon and keep all of our current members active and around.

Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't been around that much. Just to let everyone know I am still dedicated to getting this thing off the ground. To make a long story short I work in a GM plant...but not for GM (on site consulting). GM is currently on a two week shutdown so I am off work, but the company that I actually work for has seen this as a great opportunity to ship me all over the country. I'll be out of town again starting tomorrow and will probably be back on Monday or Tuesday. After that life will pretty much be back to normal and I will be back to my active self. Look forward to playing with you all.

Good to hear from you Matt. Thanks for letting us know you are on and staying in touch with the latest news. Hopefully there will be more to read soon, Furiont and I are discussing the next phase of activity as we gear up toward forming teams and preparing for clan matches.
